Founded in 1998, the Nuevo LeÛn Cinematheque, part of the State's Art Center (Centro de las Artes) is located in the heart of Fundidora Park.

Just five minutes away from Downtown, the Cinematheque can be reached by Metro, bus or taxi.

The building also houses the Nuevo LeÛn Phototeque, which keeps important images from local and world renowned photographers.

The Cinematheque has three projection halls, equiped with the latest projection and sound systems for 35mm, 16mm and Video.

Every Year the Cinematheque houses important film events, and among them is the Voladero International Film and Video Festival.
