The Voladero International Film and Video Festival owes its existence to the generosiity of sponsors who have continuosly supported our efforts to give Monterrey a world class festival.

We appreciate the kindness of all who have contributed to the festival since the year 2000 when we had this crazy idea of beginning a festival that would bring to Monterrey hundreds of amazing films from all over the world. Today, if this is a reality, we owe it to you, our sponsors.

For the Fifth anniversary edition of the Voladero International Film and Video festival we are proud to have as our sponsors the following insitituions and companies:

	The Consejo para la Cultura de Nuevo LeŪn has, since the festival's first year, shown it's interest in developing film culture in Monterrey. This year, through the FINANCIARTE program, the festival has received a grant for the programming department. Conarte also collaborates with the festival opening the doors of the Nuevo LeŪn Cinematheque to us. We have always felt at home and hope to do so for many years in the future.
	The world's best films have been made on Kodak film. Winners of the 5th Voladero International Film and Video Festival will receive Kodak Motion Picture Film so that they may continue developing their craft as filmmakers.
	The Universidad AutŪnoma de Nuevo LeŪn confirms the importance it gives to culture through its sponsorship of the VIFVF and the Recent Monterrey Cinema Showcase. Its participation in the 2004 festival is only the beginning of a relationship that will grow in coming years with new projects for the festival.
	The first international children's cinema festival in northern Mexico begins this year with the creation of the Cine DeaDeveras International Film Festival. This festival exclusively sponsored by Mundo DeaDeveras, is helping to plant the seed of cinema in future filmmakers.
